AgroCity

GROCITY is a comprehensive solution designed to address Nigeria’s challenge of
underutilized arable land. The project is a collaboration between Amisec and Brains &
Hammers which is a leading real estate developer in Nigeria. The project aims to increase
access to agricultural infrastructure, particularly farmland, and create necessary
infrastructure for different parts of the agricultural value chain to thrive.

Located in Jigawa State on 1,070 hectares of virgin land, AGROCITY will improve the
agricultural sector of the state, increase employment, reduce poverty, provide housing, and
bring benefits to all stakeholders. It will house residential real estate development, primary
agricultural production plots, agricultural processing plots, agricultural commercial, agro
tourism and agricultural extension plots, and other commercial developments.

AGROCITY is a designated free trade zone with an inland dry port. The city is designed based on advanced sustainability and technological principles, including e-mobility solutions, renewable energy sources (solar and hydro power), advanced irrigation systems, agricultural mechanization services, advanced surveillance and security systems, and agricultural value chain catalyzing frameworks and policies.

The project seeks to build with nature and not against it, converging people, profit, planet,
technology, and sustainability to serve people’s optimum physiological needs while also
protecting the planet and creating profit. AGROCITY represents the future of cities, as we
adopt a pragmatic approach to infrastructure development and the totality of our city designs
in response to the risks of climate change.
